Initial Consultation

This initial meeting is an opportunity for us to obtain information about your child. This will include a discussion of your current concerns regarding your child’s behaviours and skills. We may conduct a brief initial assessment and observation of your child, along with observation of his/her interactions with caregivers. Together, we will discuss your goals for treatment and develop a preliminary plan for working towards these goals.

We respect your right to confidentiality and privacy, and want you to feel safe and comfortable disclosing information during our sessions. During this initial session, we will explain and provide you with a written copy of the confidentiality agreement.
